Abstract: For all the weapons, women, and worldliness we associate with spies in pop-culture, you'd think espionage would be a genre as worn out as open-world games or cover shooters. For whatever reason, though, this hasn't been the case, and aside from the occasi...
Abstract: I have to admit to being completely taken by surprise by Alpha Protocol, the latest game from RPG veterans, Obsidian Entertainment, but being caught off guard is the mark or a good Espionage RPG I supposed. I also have to admit to not being the biggest...
It's really difficult to know what to say about Alpha Protocol. SEGA has had the hype machine working for the game for quite some time and so it was always going to have a tough time but what we expected and what we got were two very different things....

Abstract: Ever since the first reports about Alpha Protocol, way back in 2008, I’ve been extremely excited about the game’s release. The concept of a Mass Effect-type RPG set in a realistic world of international espionage was one that seemed like a surefire h...
Obsidian's Alpha Protocol offers an original setting and the power of choice. It's a game where you decide the fate of a majority of the cast, giving you the sense that the story is guided as much by you as it is by the designers. With a number of ways...
