  • Abstract:  Alpha Protocol from Obsidian Entertainment and SEGA was delayed a couple times for unknown reasons. Our guess would be that those delays were to create a far better gaming experience overall. While it’s still got some big flaws, it’s not too shabby.Alp...

  • RPG leveling and storyshaping conversations add depth to the standard secret agent action. Varied gameplay mechanics and a nottooserious spy story generally outshine the game's flaws.
  • Seasoned shooter fans may not be able to overlook the clunky cover system, erratic A.I, and general lack of polish. Graphics and animations look dated.

  • Abstract:  Playing Alpha Protocol is like putting together a 5,000-piece jigsaw puzzle with 500 pieces missing: You get a sense of what the big picture should have been, but the final product is still maddeningly incomplete. This intriguing role-playing game boas...

  • Your choices have lasting impact on the story and gameplay, Lots of ways to approach missions and develop your character.
  • Flaky, glitchy cover mechanics, Bland visuals further marred by texture popin and bad animations, Terrible AI affects both the shooting and the stealth, The story lacks soul and character.
  • Alpha Protocol's astounding intricacies are tarnished by bugs, clumsy gameplay mechanics, and rough production values. ...

  • Abstract:  Your weapon is choice. That's what Alpha Protocol proudly declares in this spy RPG with more than a shade of Mass Effect about it. Developed by the fine folk at Obsidian, Alpha Protocol has been a most promising prospect since it was first revealed, ...

  • According to a number of informed people, this game was done six months ago and was delayed to avoid a clash with Mass Effect 2. It is when you compare the quality of the two games together you can understand why. Alpha Protocol really is in many way...

  • Seeing how different choices play out is cool, Combat gets fun once you've leveled up, Acting/writing are good despite raw presentation
  • Hacking and lockpicking are a pain, Outrageously cheap boss fights, Feels unfinished, with infuriating bugs

  • If you want slick but ultimately hollow action you can always play Splinter Cell: Conviction. What Obsidian has accomplished with Alpha Protocol is so much more memorable than slow-motion death. 8.1/10Print this pageUser reviews (0)Share this pageNotic...
