Fits into a normal size backpack-sort-of, Desktop level performance in a laptop, 120 Hz screen great for gaming,
Still much larger than other 15-inch laptops, Hinge is an inconvenient eyesore

Excellent hardware package for Full HD gaming, Lightning fast load time, Dual SSD and HDD storage, Fantastic display quality, Beautiful, flashy design, Sturdy build
Very expensive, Not really a 4K gaming machine, A bit heavy at almost 7 lbs
If you want a very powerful, very mobile laptop for high end Full HD and maybe 1440p gaming, then the Alienware 15 ANW15-7493SLV 15.6-Inch Gaming Laptop is a fantastic choice and for this we recommend it. However, for users more interested in 4K gaming...

Solid design. Excellent gaming performance. Full HD display is well suited to gaming. Customizable lighting and macro commands. Good sound quality. Sizable storage. Graphics are upgradable with Alienware's external Graphics Amplifier.
Heavy. No touch capability

Excellent build quality, Great keyboard and display, Fantastic gamerfocused performance, "Upgradeable" with external Graphics Amplifier

Highly customizable, Optional Graphics Amplifier, More affordable than the competition, High-quality audio
Runs very hot, Heavy
While it's bigger and heavier than gaming notebooks of similar size, the Alienware 15 offers solid graphics performance for less than the competition....
Sleek, solid-feeling design, Runs quiet with internal graphics, Good battery life, Nice price, Optional Graphics Amplifier
Midrange processor, Competing laptops have better speakers, Heavy, No optical drive
Alienware's latest 15-inch gaming rig is sleek, solid, and a good value, packing an SSD and GeForce GTX 970M graphics for $1,499. And an optional desktop box lets you plug in a PCIe graphics card for even better performance. Read More…...
Very good gaming performance for $1050$1100, At least as cost effective as GTX 960M laptops for $900 in terms of gaming performance / price, Good 1080p IPS display, Very good thermals, with no throttling at all and quiet, Very good colorful backlit keyboa
High weight at around 3.2kg, Much faster options for only $100$150 like Clevo P650SE and MSI GT60 (with coupons), Hard maintenance, hard to open the case completely open to access the motherboard (RAM and storage are available easily), Soldered CPU and GP
The Alienware 15 is an excellent machine obviously. Very good thermals with no throttling, very good keyboard, good 1080p IPS, slick looks, many features, low noise and very good performance. The AW15 basic version, although with an I5-4210H will be fast...
