  • A sleek, wellbuilt Android tablet. The screen just goes on forever. Every tablet should be this thin and this light. The battery lasts a long, long time
  • Just finicky enough to make me worry about its performance. The screen's a little too vibrant, like an HDR photo pushed too far. Needs a software update. Intel's RealSense tech underwhelms, and the threecamera setup is just a gimmick at this point

  • Abstract:  I would like to make a correction to the video the tablet is actually 399.99$.Dells new tablet is a mouthful, and that is a fact. Another fact is that this little 6mm mouthful is a powerful tablet. It sports a high-resolution OLED display at 8.4inches and...

  • Build quality, display, battery life
  • Placement of the cameras and WLAN antenna on the bottom of the tablet is an odd design choice
  • Dell's Venue 8 7000 is a solidly built 8.4″ Android tablet with decent sound, and some cool additional camera features. If you can overlook the design flaw that places the cameras and WLAN antenna where most people would hold the device and get used to ho...

  • As a tablet, the Dell Venue 8 is impressive. It is small, compact, thin, well-built, has good-sounding front-facing speakers, brilliant high-resolution display. There is also a companion Keyboard Folio of the same size where you can fold up neatly, so in...

  • Beautiful display, Great performance, Cuttingedge camera
  • Minimal internal storage, Overlyslender bezels, Slightly outofdate OS
  • The Dell Venue 8 7840 is unquestionably one of the best mid-size tablets on the market, thanks to its beautiful display, outstanding performance, and long battery life....

  • Wellbuilt, very slim design, Long battery life, Stunning screen, The first tablet with Intel's RealSense 3D camera setup
  • It's too easy to accidentally obstruct the speaker and rear camera, Despite Intel's RealSense technology, the actual image quality is mediocre
  • Dell's flagship Venue 8 tablet is thin and well-made with a stunning screen and long battery life. It's one of the best Android slates you can buy, but we'd like it even more if the image quality from the camera were better -- and if it weren't so easy...

  • The Dell Venue 8 is a tablet that I really wanted to like. From the moment I unboxed it, it had a level of craftsmanship that I have seldom seen in other Android tablets. The aluminum casing is rigid and sturdy, which is a breath of fresh air compared to...

  • Beautiful display, surprisingly thin and light, premium metal design looks very sleek, great battery life, decent overall performance.
  • Mediocre rear camera, Intel's RealSense feels gimmicky and unpolished, Android 4.4 is not x86optimized (but Lollipop could fix that).
  • Dell also sent along its HDMI streaming dongle, Dell Cast, as well as a wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Similar to other HDMI dongles, Dell Cast allows users to stream content from an Android tablet. All you need is a free HDMI port and a USB port for ...
