  • Slimmest tablet currently available. Gorgeous build. Front-facing speakers. Sharp screen.
  • Poor cameras. Bizarre design for using cameras. Performance doesn't live up to the spec sheet
  • The Dell Venue 8 7000 looks terrific on paper, but several odd design choices make this 8-inch tablet much less usable than it should be....

  • Abstract:  Dell has been strategically setting-up their new Venue 8 7000 tablet for cameo appearances over the past few months, starting back at Intel Developer's Forum in September of last year, then again at Dell World in November, and of course at CES 2015. At ea...

  • The 7840 looks good. It looks real good. All-around I think it's the sharpest Android tablet I've ever seen. Those tiny bezels look great, and that slimness is almost beyond belief. It's not just the body; the 2560 x 1600 OLED screen is fantastic too, GIF
  • The 7840's asymmetrical design can be more annoying than a more traditional bezel layout at times, Advertisement, The RealSense cameras are a letdown. Depth-sensing Lytro-style refocusing tech in your tablet could probably be cool, but the apps and camera
  • Are you looking for a smallish Android tablet with a great screen? Then yes. The 7840 is the best one you can buy. Samsungs similarly priced Galaxy Tab S is no slouch, but loses points for its lackluster design and Samsungs TouchWiz skin. The Nvidia Shi...

  • Abstract:  Well, well...what do we have here? Why, it's the Dell Venue 8 7000 -- the most interesting and distinctive Android tablet to come along in quite some time.If the name doesn't ring a bell, don't worry: This thin little number has one of the most puzzling a...

  • Abstract:  There was a time, not too long ago, when taking photos with a tablet was as uncool as wearing a fanny pack. “Enjoying the view?” I'd joke when I saw tourists snapping away, their faces entirely covered by the big screens.Except tablet photography actually...

  • Slim and sexy all metal build, awesome 2560 x 1600 AMOLED display that pops, good battery life, fast performance
  • The rear Intel RealSense Depth camera seems like a waste of resources
  • The Dell Venue 8 7000 series is hands down the sexiest tablet Dell's ever made. It has top-notch specs, a chic metal build and a simply remarkable display that pops with clarity and vibrancy. At $399 like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and iPad mini with Re...

  • The Dell Venue 8 7000 could do with a better name but it's certainly the most desirable tablet we've seen from the PC maker. It's both stylish and has some great specs including a stunning screen. The Intel RealSense technology is interesting but we need ...
