  • Overall we liked the Xerox Phaser 6280. It's attractive to look at, the design works well, and the paper handling is superb. It works very well as a text printer, and if you're looking for a model with vivid text and excellent paper handling, this is ...

  • Photographs have red color cast; confusing driver menus.

  • Reasonably fast. High-quality output, particularly for text and graphics. Good paper handling.
  • Both initial price and running costs are a touch on the high side.

  • Attractive to look at; design works well; great as a text printer, best choice for vivid text and excellent paper handling
  • Features can be difficult to find on menu; poor graphics printing at just 9.1ppm in our tests
  • Xerox's one-year warranty is onsite, and the company doesn't let itself down on running costs. Its 1.7p mono and 8.4p colour prints aren't the cheapest here, but they're not the most expensive either
