  • 72-hour surveillance without 12-volt, Rotates on the mount to easily capture interior video or happy snaps, Optional GPS module and Bluetooth remote "take photo" button
  • No integrated display, Installation would be neater with GPS integrated into the camera or mount
  • VaVa's Dash Cam 2K improves video captures, while retaining the original version's clever rotating design. There's no integrated display, so the Dash Cam 2K is for phone-centric users only...

  • It's difficult to find 1440p video at this price point, and it's definitely a step up from 1080p, The hardware is quite well-done, both in terms of aesthetics and functionality, It's nothing special, but it looks nice enough and gets the job done

  • Abstract:  ava’s upgraded Dash Cam 2K (the VA-VD005) is still largely the same stylish, cleverly designed product we first saw and reviewed favorablly (the VA-CD001). The major enhancement is a new sensor that captures video at 1440p, rather than the more pedestrian 1080p. The original is still the best lower-end dash cam for phone-centric users (there's no display), though that overall bar has been raised quite a bit since the product was introduced.
