  • By simply opening Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme box we were already impressed. We never saw a cooler package where the hardware is beautifully acomodated into a foam-filled box; usually parts are just dropped into a small box.But this good impression could h...

  • Abstract:  Different as they might be in terms of price, design tweaks and support, the Tower 120 Extreme and NH-U12P are getting the same score today and that's 8.2 Techconnect Marks for their ability to combine almost everything one would want from a high-end air cooler. And since we loved their performance here today, they also get a Gold Award to add to their trophy case. E.N.D.

  • noise level at low R. P.M, The 120mm fan can be replaced
  • Cannot be upgraded with a second fan like other differently designed coolers, High noise levels when fan is operating at full R. P.M.
  • The Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme CPU cooler makes the difference with its very interesting design, with a pre-installed 120mm fan embedded into the fins and its impressive dimensions. First of all, its retail package is full and includes mounting mechanis...

  • Abstract:  Tuniq's Tower 120 Extreme is an enthusiast grade heatsink that cools very well, pretty quietly. In fact I'll save you the suspense and tell you straight up that it tops Frostytech's Intel reference chart and that it's one of the Top 5 best-ever heatsi...

  • Price / Performance Ratio
  • Although the original Tower 120 was a real success because of its great for the time performance levels, the Tower 120 Extreme fails to impress with good but not great results. Had Tuniq added 2 fans in push and pull instead of a single sand...

  • Abstract:  Video Review: The Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme CPU Cooler looks fantastic in it's all black theme. It has a quiet blue LED 120mm fan, 5 copper heatpipes, lots of aluminum fins, smooth base and includes TX-3 thermal compound. It also fits all current Intel and AMD motherboards.

  • We had our doubts about this replacement for the Tuniq Tower 120, and they proved to be well founded. The cooler’s best results were achieved when bolted to an LGA775 socket, but even then the delta T temperatures were a way off what we’d want for this...

  • Tuniq's Tower 120 Extreme continues in the footsteps of its predecessor in pursuing top cooling performance for enthusiasts. It is an evolution, however, following the trend in cooling technology of Heatpipe Direct Touch design that is very effective...
