  • High quality headphones come bundled, Small and incredibly sleek design
  • Proprietary connection for PC hookup, No expandable memory slot
  • This intelligently designed flash-based MP3 player performs well enough to give users a great alternative to Apple’s iPod Nano.

  • Small size, full-featured, large screen
  • With the exception of 6GB more space and no FM radio, the guts of Sonys NWZ-A818 Walkman are exactly the same as its tinier, cuter 2GB cousin, the NWZ-S615F. Unless 8GB is their magic number for drive space, we cant imagine wanting to spend the ext...

  • Lightweight, easy to navigate, good video resolution, works with multiple music formats, better earbuds
  • No FM tuner or recording capability
  • The 818 Walkman video player is Sonys top-of-the-line portable player, part of their 810 Series and the first the company is billing as "open standard." Sony has finally seen the light and will now support music downloaded from todays most popular s...

  • Abstract:  When I heard the Sony Walkman was going to be relaunched this year, I knew I had to review it. I have been a fan of the Walkman for…well, pretty much my whole life. As I recall, the Walkman will play audio cassette tapes in a bidirectional format...

  • The Sony NWZ-A810 offers a slim design with a lovely, ample screen. Its also easy to use and comes with high-quality earphones. Audio quality is excellent, and there are plenty of sound enhancement options and two custom EQs. The player supports photo...
  • Even with the included extender, the Sony NWZ-A810s earphone cable is very short. The placement of the hold button on the back of the player is neither convenient nor ergonomic. Theres no FM tuner, voice recorder, or memory expansion slot.
  • The Sony NWZ-A810 offers a fantastic display, a sleek design and interface, and a stellar battery life--plus, its one of the few MP3 players that sound great right out of the box. Users looking for the whole package (sans radio) will be pleased.

  • Easy to use; Drag and Drop Function; Superb audio quality; Long battery life; Support for various audio and video files
  • Screen is too small for video viewing; No FM Tuner or voice recorder; Price
  • The Sony Walkman NWZ-A818 can handle most of the files you throw at it and has a great sound output, making it one of the best multimedia players we have seen to date. Unfortunately, its RRP of $369 is quite pricey in comparison to other 8GB players av...
