  • Superb 1080p picture quality, 7.1ch analog audio, built-in Wi-Fi, surround sound headphone jack, user-friendly interface
  • Light on multimedia features, doesn’t look ’high-end’ enough
  • The Sony BDP-S760 Blu-ray player puts sound and picture quality at the forefront. It also benefits from built-in Wi-Fi and a surround sound headphone jack, two features that set it apart from the pack. ...

  • Excellent picture quality, audio connections, Wi-Fi
  • Media support limited, slow starter
  • If it is just Blu-ray playback that interests you, then the BDP-S760 offers great visuals and with the new wave stacked against it, you may well be able to pick up a bargainKey specsBlu-ray, Component, Composite, Digital audio, Ethernet, HDMI, S-Video,...

  • Fantastic picture quality, WiFi support and the slick operating system
  • Won’t play MP3, WMA or DivX from USB or over a network and disc loading is slow. No builtin memory
  • A step in the right direction, but not the killer Blu-ray proposition you get from LG or Panasonic...

  • Best Blu-ray performance you can get for less than £500; features galore, including Wi-Fi connectivity; fast
  • No built-in storage memory; not as multimedia-savvy as the LG BD390
  • The PlayStation 3 is no longer the only Sony Blu-ray player you should consider buying. As well as offering an up-to-the-minute feature set, Sony's stand-alone BDP-S760 leaves the company's games console for dead in the all-important picture and sound...
