  • Price, Full power at 46°C, Load regulation (12V), Ripple suppression (for the standards of the SFX category), Full protection features set, Holdup time, Accurate power ok signal, Silent at normal conditions, Duro Bearing fan
  • Efficiency, Inrush current, OPP should be set lower, Low number of SATA connectors
  • A highly affordable SFX unit that offers decent performance and a silent operation under normal conditions, thanks to the 92mm fan that equips it. If you don't have a problem with its native cables and your system's consumption usually is in the 200-3...

  • We believe that, considering the design requirements and price range of the ST30SF and the ST45SF, the designer did an excellent job. Both of the units are of excellent quality, with a clean design and proven components. The power output quality is very g...

  • good build quality, very good to excellent ripple control, excellent voltage stability, highly affordable option for SFX cases
  • nothing I can think of
  • Silverstone's latest version of the ST45SF sought to freshen things up for people needing a good SFX 450 watter on the cheap. And it did pretty well at that, while still managing to be far enough away from the price of a Corsair SF450 to still be worth it...

  • Build Quality, Tiny SFX Form Factor Model, Solid Rail Stability, 80 Plus Bronze Certified, Noise Levels, Price (For Some),
  • Only One PCIe Connector,
  • The SST-ST45SF may not impress with its large power output, modular design or its plethora of available power connectors since it features none of that but it's still a very compact unit with surprisingly good rail stability and noise levels. F...

  • The SilverStone ST45SF V3.0 is the second 450W SFX form factor power supply we have seen to date and it happens to also be the second one we have seen from SilverStone. However, today, the ST45SF V3.0 is not exactly an evolution of that previous offering...

  • SilverStone recently introduced two new entry level SFX power supplies for small form factor enthusiasts, the ST30SF (V2.0) and the ST45SF (V3.0). Their most obvious feature is small size, but the power supplies also incorporates a new larger 92mm cooling...

  • Mighty Milo & SilverStone's Tony Ou Much of the hardware will be covered in the final fight when we benchmark each machine, but even just superficially we can see that this machine has the potential to keep quieter with an absence of case fans being inst...

  • Abstract:  What does it take to make a gaming computer? First of all, it must have a fast graphics card because nearly any mainboard today lets you install a top-performance CPU and a lot of high-speed system memory. So it is this inability to fit in a good enoug...

  • Cables may be short if used in a standard ATX chassis
  • The SilverStone ST45SF is a good SFX form factor power supply. It has many of the features that you would expect from larger ATX enthusiast PSUs like a painted chassis and sleeved cables. The power supply delivered good voltage regulation with good effici...
