  • The Sennheiser Urbanite XL is a well-designed, comfortable to wear over-ear headphone that offers exciting, dynamic sound with quality bass. There's an integrated remote/microphone for calls (both an Android and iOS version of the headphone is available)
  • The nylon carry "pouch" is skimpy
  • The Sennheiser Urbanite XL is a well-designed Beats competitor that costs less and sounds as good or better....

  • Abstract:  Sennheiser's Urbanite XL On-Ear Headphones offer great balanced sound, but they're priced in a bracket where you've got a lot of choices already. The last time I assessed a pair of Sennheiser headphones was with the genuinely excellent but undeniably price...

  • Great sound quality, Extremely sturdy design, Nifty locking headphone cable
  • Expensive, Imperfect headband design, Uncomfortable for extended wear
  • The Urbanite XL headphones from Sennheiser are not especially cheap; you'll be up for a full $399 if you buy them at RRP. If you can save money by finding them on special, they become better value. But just as the Urbanites are Beats competitors in design...

  • Robust build, Decent noise isolation, Powerful bass,
  • Relaxed delivery doesn't get the best out of music, Not the final word in timing,
  • All of which doesn't stop these headphones from being a good option. The Sennheiser Urbanite XLs are nicely built, and they are certainly talented enough to warrant a place on your shortlist...

  • Robust, Full range of controls, Wide stereo field
  • Sound severely lacked balance, Whistling, Average sharpness and comfort, Resonance
  • Thanks to its full range of commands, powerful bass and robust build, the Urbanite XL is a crowd-pleaser. It's likely to appeal particularly to young music mavens wanting hard-wearing headphones with warm sound....

  • Abstract:  These are over ear offerings – however Sennheiser also do on ear – and there is 3cm of movement in each ear, not as with some a flimsy band but a solid internal movement backed up with a solid rubberised band.Unlike a lot of headphones that twist and coll...
