  • Abstract:  The Gear Fit is a superbly designed wearable fitness band and watch, but it is somewhat limited by price and app issues.Smartwatches are one of those categories that, outside the very geeky, still sit in the “waiting to go mainstream” space. They're undou...

  • Abstract:  Samsung has managed to put a smartwatch on my wrist, and I don't mind it – at least, I don't mind the feel of it. Unfortunately, while there's some appealing qualities to the Gear Fit , there's also a few aspects of Samsung's $250 smartwatch that are a bi...

  • Curved screen, Longer battery life
  • Limited functionality, Slim screen
  • I need to spend a bit more time with the Gear Fit before I can cast a proper judgement but so far it's making for a nifty fitness companion. The limit to Samsung devices will be a bugbear for a lot of people, especially when they see how nice that screen...

  • The Gear Fit has a forward-looking design, many more extras than the average fitness band, and the ability to measure heart rate. Its curved AMOLED display looks fantastic, too
  • The long display means text reads awkwardly on your wrist. The Fit only works with certain Samsung phones. Can't load apps, so you're stuck with the features included. And the price is high, so much so that you might consider a cheaper alternative or the
  • The Samsung Gear Fit is a great-looking wearable, but doesn't successfully reconcile its dual roles as activity tracker and smartwatch....

  • Abstract:  We love fitness trackers. I wear a couple myself both in my iPhone and Android devices, as well as devices from Jawbone and Fitbit on my wrist. But they don't do anything. I'm still an overweight, sedentary guy who doesn't work out enough, and I'm finding...

  • Attractive (for a smartwatch) and well made. Curved screen is beautiful and bright. Battery should see most users through three days
  • Rarely displayed time when I wanted it to. No GPS tracking. Long texts not fully displayed. S Health is confusing, with too much going on. Cannot automatically detect exercise or sleep
  • The Gear Fit was my favourite product of the Mobile World Congress technology show this year. Where the Gear 2 offered too much and for a high price, the Fit stuck to the specific task of recording exercise and being a watch with a simple range of notifi...
