Sound quality limitations, Music performance, Boomy subwoofer bass, Choice of material, reflections, Individual units cannot be upgraded
Samsung has come a long way since we tested HW-K950 in 2016. The sound has improved and the Dolby Atmos experience has been significantly expanded, though individual speakers still cannot be replaced or upgraded – liked Sonos or traditional HiFi – and we...
Superb Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 11.1.4 3D sound, Easy to setup – no App required, and automatic SpaceFit calibration, In-your-face room shaking bass, NFC BT Tap to play, Rears are 2.0.1 side, front and up-firing
Q-Symphony is a waste of effort with this soundbar. It may be better for smaller ones, Would like longer power cables, 4-character display – needs a better on-screen UI, Not a significant upgrade to the Q990C

Large, immersive and three-dimensional sound,Dynamic, weighty and detailed,Two HDMI 2.1 inputs
Very occasional bassy crackle,Hard-to-read display
The Q990D delivers Dolby Atmos (and DTS:X) in a way that very few soundbar packages can match, and the added HDMI 2.1 support will be a game-changer for some TODAY'S BEST DEALS 12 034 kr at CDON SE 12 287 kr at Computersalg SE 13 455 kr at Amazon SE...
Powerful and immersive sound stage,Excellent HDR and gaming support over HDMI loop through,Good with music too
It's not cheap,Creates more clutter than a single soundbar option,Might annoy the neighbours
The HW-Q990D might not look very different to its highly acclaimed predecessor, but its sound is on a different level - with music as well as movies. Which pretty much by default makes it the best full surround soundbar in town. PROS Powerful and immersi...
Abstract: The Samsung HW-Q990D follows in the footsteps of one of the best soundbars in recent years, the Samsung HW-Q990C, but adds gaming features including 4K 120Hz and VRR pass-through, along with a more refined and controlled sound profile.Filled to the brim w...

Abstract: Looking and feeling like its predecessor, the Q990D manages to both sound better and squeeze out more functionality without seemingly having made any notable hardware changes. But, while channel and speaker count plus fit & finish remain as before, there'...
Cons, Not as easy to install as a basic ‘bar, Front display is fairly useless
If you want a soundbar capable of delivering the immersion of a separates system without all the installation hassles, this is the one for you. When it comes to Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, no other ‘bar can deliver such an enveloping a spatial audio experience...

Sauberer, unverfälschter Klang,Überragende Raumklangeffekte,Musikwiedergabe per AirPlay 2, Chromecast & Bluetooth
Subwoofer braucht viel Platz
