  • Abstract:  So the folks out at Geeks.com sent me an item in their line of cheap media players, and you can pretty much forget about the whole “get what you pay for” thing here, because you’ll get a whole lot more than that. I’m talking about the Philips GoGear ...

  • Yet another Philips player is up for review, this time the Aria. Being bigger than the two previousely reviewed Philips players it goes up against players like the Sony E340 and Sansa Fuze. Read on for the review. Quick Look Capacities: 4GB, 8GB, 16G...

  • The Philips GoGear Aria is an affordable MP3 player that packs a 2-inch color screen, premium earbuds, FM radio, voice recording, photos, and video, and seamlessly integrates with Rhapsodys subscription music service.
  • The Arias design is a little blah, navigation is a tad quirky, the construction is all plastic, and the music player doesnt support AAC files from iTunes.
  • The GoGear Aria is a useful MP3 player that makes a great match for Rhapsody subscribers. It wont turn any heads, but it wont break the bank, either.

  • Capable MP3 player , Small, lightweight design , FM radio and recorder
  • Woeful low-res display , Obscure video file recognition , Dreadful bundled stereo headphones
  • With its terrible display, the GoGear Aria fails to deliver on its promise as a video player. It may be AU$20 cheaper than a comparable iPod Nano, but it's leagues behind in terms of quality....

  • At Rs. 4999 the player is not so reasonable, it could have been a tad cheaper. If it were a drag and drop affair for videos, then surely this player is superb. The audio playback is very good, but then feature-wise the Philips could have done better. O...

  • Small, light design, great audio quality, fast, easy to use UI, feature-rich
  • No AAC playback, display too small and low quality for image/video playback
  • Philips had announced its new range of portable audio-video players from GoGear a few months back. We have already reviewed the GoGear Vibe and found the player to be a good option for those looking for an MP3 player and not so much of a video player. ...

  • Looks Good, Feature Rich, Simple Interface, Very Good Earphones, Inexpensive
  • Glossy Body Attracts Fingerprints, Does not support AAC, Average Screen
  • The Philips Aria is a good looking feature-rich player that is simple to use thanks to its no-frills interface. It comes with a decent set of in-ear headphones and is priced competitively. We only wish the screen could have been of a better quality....
