  • Very good color. Easy to use. Nice extras, like a manual focus ring.
  • Big and bulky. Expensive.
  • The Panasonic PV-GS250 performs adequately, but not quite well enough to justify its large size and price tag....

  • Value for money, design, ease of use, zoom mic with wind reduction.
  • Lack of a Leica lens, range of in-built flash.
  • s From an imaging perspective the GS250 is tremendous, benefiting greatly from the power of 3CCDs. Even though they are 4.2mm (1/6-inch chips ? small in comparison to prosumer camcorders and video cameras), having separate colour chips makes a differen...

  • Abstract:  The Panasonic NV-GS250 is ideal for the more experienced videomakers and for video camera owners purchasing their second or third camcorder. At just over $2000 at the time of writing, it represents some of the best value around.

  • 3CCD sensor system gives rich colours and defined edges. Optical image stabiliser cuts arm wobble.
  • Heavy at 570g. Connecting up to TV not as easy as Panny makes out. Costs can add up.
  • Despite pricey running costs and battery quibbles, the NVGs250B has a top 3CCD sensor system to make your moving pictures a visual feast ...

  • Abstract:  Poor old MiniDV. Its like a dog thats had its day, caught rabies and is just awaiting a swift bullet to the head from its owner. Tapeless models are bounding into the arena and strutting their stuff like new puppies who know just how cute they are ...

  • Great three-chip colour; strong ergonomics and navigation system; solid optical image stabilizer; decent stills
  • Only average in low light; difficult to control manually; limited zoom range; mediocre LCD
  • A bargain for a three-chip camera, the Panasonic PV-GS250 is a great choice for an amateur with serious aspirations or just a discerning eye ...

  • Abstract:  Le Panasonic NV-GS250 n’est ni le plus abordable des caméscopes DV grand public, ni le plus compact. Mais ses systèmes de capture à trois CCD et de stabilisation dimage attireront les vidéastes aguerris.
