  • Nicely improved GUI, Loads discs quickly, Excellent audio and video performance on discs and streaming sources, Good selection of streaming providers and apps, Built-in WiFi, iPod control
  • Lacks Divx/XVid support, Limited codec support for MKV files, No built-in storage for BD-Live and Skype video voice mail (requires SD card), iPhone app lacks a keyboard, VUDU implementation does not support 3D (yet)
  • Panasonic definitely has a winner this year in the DMP-BDT310 Networked Blu-ray 3D player. It offers fast disc loading, a nicely improved user interface, a solid selection of streaming sources and apps, and excellent audio and video performance. The...

  • Contemporary design, Accurate colours and greyscale (gamma), 3D compatibility, Builtin WiFi
  • Remote control, No 7.1 analogue connection
  • The Panasonic BDT310 is a very well-made and well-finished Blu-ray player that delivers excellent image quality. It's a must-have for anyone who was put off by the out-dated design of the BDT300 it's intended to replace....

  • Some of the new 3D modes I can live without – the Frame Width feature is just plain daft and I remain unconvinced about 2D depth conversion – but the revamped user interface is a great improvement. Ultimately, the appeal of this player boils down to i...

  • Excellent 3D and 2D pictures, Intuitive Operation, Twin HDMI outputs
  • Fairly pricey, Viera Cast content could be better, 2D conversion is a mixed bag
  • If you're sold on the idea of 3D and have a fairly sizeable budget, the DMP-BDT310 is one of the best players you can buy. The main attraction is the extensive feature list, which has been enhanced this year by the inclusion of Skype (if you can stretch t...

  • Great picture and sound quality; attractive menus; dual HDMI outputs; Skype feature is excellent
  • Panasonic's online media portal is still disappointing; not the cheapest player in the world
  • The Panasonic DMP-BDT310 is a great Blu-ray player with enough features to keep even the most enthusiastic users entertained for a long time. It's not the cheapest machine on the market, though....
