Noisy Fans, Rubber grommets for panel are easy to lose
NZXT has been designing and banging out knock-out cases for years now. While they aren't always perfect or stunners, they do always seem to innovate and build on their experience. The same can be said of the S340 Elite. Building on the excellent chassis t...

NZXT's S340 Elite builds upon the S340, but has retooled a couple of components. Most apparent, its inclusion of tempered glass means the S340 Elite now aims to adopt an industry trend, with NZXT already invested in 2016's other trend through the HUE+.Th...

Highclass look with understated style and tempered glass side panel, Excellent build quality, Compact size for an ATX enclosure, External HDMI port and magnetic puck a plus for VR enthusiasts, Very quiet performance, Minor weaknesses, Limited space for so
If you are going to build in a case that features a full glass side panel, you want things to look neat and orderly inside. This is certainly the case with the S340 Elite, and the shroud to the right of the motherboard helped streamline the look slightly.
The Source S340 is an outstanding enclosure with a high-end appearance thanks to the tempered glass side panel. Like the original S340, it offers a solid build and good cable management, and the new Elite version adds VR compatibility from its front HDMI...

Built-in cable-management clips, Tempered glass side, VR-minded HDMI port on top I/O panel, Front SSD bay allows you to show off your drive, Magnetic puck for hanging headsets, Attractive price
Too much force required to remove front panel, Magnetic puck exposes VR headsets to dust, Adding hard drives post-build is a pain

It's fair to say that we loved the S340 chassis when we reviewed it almost exactly two years ago, and at around £55 we said it was an absolute steal and probably represented the best value gaming/enthusiasts case under £80. So then it'd be natural to ass...
Tempered glass side panel, Great cable management system, Simple and elegant exterior design, Captive thumbscrews on side panels, Removable dust filters for easy cleaning, Front HDMI and additional USB ports for VR
No toolless mounting mechanism for HDD/SSD, Cable clamps could be improved for better durability, Cannot support CPU air coolers over 161mm in height
The NZXT S340 is one of the best mid-tower computer cases for the price. With the S340 Elite, it brings over the same features along with VR capabilities and a beautiful tempered glass side panel. Smaller features, like the removable dust filter for the p...
We recall being very fond of the original S340 chassis from NZXT, as at that time, it was at the forefront of design, and NZXT were some of the first to introduce PSU covers and solid mid-tower cases that many found intriguing. All of the reasons we like...
