  • Abstract:  As one of the coolest sub-genres out there, the Ninja game has definitely stood the test of time. There are tons of games with Ninja influences: Ninja Gaiden, Shinobi, Onimusha, Dragon Ball, Naruto...hell, you could even say TMNT. All of these titles h...

  • Abstract:  In the graphics department, Ninja Blade looks pretty good for the most part. The boss characters are the highlight as they are crafted with some impressive models that are truly huge. For example, the giant spiders found in the game fill the screen wit...

  • Abstract:  What do you get if you combined Ninjas, hardcore combat sensibilities, wall-running and Quick-Time-Events? It sounds pretty much like an amalgamation of every action game to have been released in the past ten years, and that's exactly what Ninja Blade...

  • Abstract:  In an effort to fill the gaps in its 2009 Spring lineup with something (anything), Microsoft brings us Ninja Blade. As a calendar gap filler, Ninja Blade does a fine job of filling a slot on a release list and taking up shelf space. As a game you would...

  • Abstract:  By the time I finished the second level in Ninja Blade, I wasn't all that enthusiastic about playing it. I'm not normally a guy that would complain about the use of QTE's in a game, but Ninja Blade really takes their use to an extreme. It doesn't chang...

  • Riotous cinematic sequences, Fun, flashylooking swordplay, Swift pacing moves things along at a nice clip, Great setpiece battles.
  • Overly reliant on quicktime events, The combat isnt very deep or original, Some technical inconsistencies.
  • This derivative action game is a bunch of silly, stylish fun. ...
