  • Abstract:  Mario Strikers: Charged is here for the Wii and so is online play. I'm not a big fan of Pokemon so this was my first opportunity to get online and have some fun with the little white box. My initial impression of the game was not great, but after playing...

  • Abstract:  Mario Strikers Charged continues the tradition of sports-themed Mario titles. The sequel to Super Mario Strikers isn't as addictive or engaging as its predecessor, but it is still a lot of fun, and with the addition of online multiplayer, it's hard no...

  • Abstract:  Mario Strikers Charged is not your typical soccer game or your typical Wii game, but it makes for an excellent offbeat arcade sports game on Nintendo’s system. And it’s the second ever to work over the Nintendo Wi-Fi–a real blessing, sin...

  • Abstract:  For me, soccer has always been one of those sports I really didnt enjoy playing sim-style games of. Im not trying to say that the FIFA series is bad or anything – it could be enjoyable at times – but soccer just felt too off for me. Maybe its...

  • Abstract:  I found that the visuals in Mario Strikers Charged were a step up from the original GameCube version. Overall the colors are vibrant and the detail of such really has some punch. 16x9 widescreen is supported in this game. I review my Wii games on a 42-...

  • Abstract:  This isnt your fathers Mario game. Mario Strikers Charged is the sequel to the GameCube soccer title Super Mario Strikers. While the game may seem very similar to its predecessor at a surface level, a bevy of improvements, including the Wii’s first...

  • Awesome multiplayer; intuitive controls; just frantic fun. You dont have to be a soccer fan to enjoy this one.
  • Only one goalie available and you dont control him for most of the game; action gets a little too overwhelming at times.
  • Destined to join games like GoldenEye and Super Mario Kart as an incredibly fun multiplayer experience.

  • Abstract:  As someone who loathes even the theoretical concept of athletics and is unable to play even a round of Texas Hold 'Em over XboxLive, I've gotta admit that I wouldn't consider myself the most -- shall we say -- qualified person in the world to review ...

  • Abstract:  Wii owners begging for online gaming can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Mario Strikers Charged, the first legitimate online game for the system has been released. And boy, does it deliver. From a solid frame rate and awesome graphical style to amazi...

  • Overall gameplay translates well to Wii; dazzling (and busy) visuals; solid online multiplayer against random people; great offline multiplayer.
  • Some player imbalances that are disastrous online; Nintendo Wi-Fi Friends Codes take the fun out of online against your friends.
  • Some will disagree to this day, but we at GameSpy loved Super Mario Strikers. As one of the last Mario sports games on the GameCube, we showered it with lots of awards at the end of 2005, including Best Sports Game and Best Multiplayer Game. In our boo...
