  • Up to 15 hours of battery life, Match-In-Sensor fingerprint reader, Healthy selection of ports
  • RAM is soldered to board, An 8th generation Intel Core i7-8650U would be better
  • No matter which model of the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon 6th Gen you pick up, you're getting a fine example of a business laptop. Sure, the Intel Core i7-8650U is better overall, but the base model still wields four cores well for multitasking. Battery life...

  • As light as a tablet, Lenovo's top-of-the-line keyboard, Top-notch performance, Good battery life
  • Pricey, as befitting a premiere ultrabook, Gen 2 Ethernet connector is designed to sell you a dock, Take care when configuring, as touchless screens are a basic option
  • Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th Gen is a superb business ultrabook, combining light weight, a powerful processor and excellent battery life...

  • premium, thin and light case, bright, contrast-rich touch display with high color space coverage, modern I/O and normal USB Type-A ports, good system performance, excellent keyboard, impressive battery life, three year's warranty, quick card reader, runs
  • SD card slot is difficult to reach, the card slot is only microSD, not “WWAN ready”, restricted maintenance options, LAN only via included adapter, extreme performance throttling during stress tests

  • Compact, light, solid build, Excellent keyboard, 8thgeneration Intel Core processors, Screen option with Dolby Vision HDR, ThinkShutter privacy cover for camera
  • Disappointing speakers, No reduction in size and weight from previous generation, Noticeable screen bezels, Expensive
  • Lenovo has done little more with the ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th Gen than keep it up to date with processor and screen upgrades. It would have been good to see some size and/or weight shaved off, and for the screen bezels to slim down. It's also time to think...

  • Lightweight, yet durable design, Comfortable keyboard, good touchpad, Adequate supply of ports, Matte display option is a treat, Fast performance
  • Only average battery life, Questionable keyboard layout choices, Dizzying array of configurations that require too many compromises, Sucky fingerprint scanner, Active, sometimes noisy, fans
