  • Attractive design with hidden paper trays, Easy setup doesn’t require any cables, Excellent photo quality, Affordable ink and low cost per print, Intuitive bundled software, Built-in duplexer
  • Noisy, Wireless printing a bit slow, USB cable not included, No fax at this price
  • Kodak’s $199 ESP 7, which prints, copies, and scans, is the sleekest, most attractive all-in-one on the market. Moreover, it prints crisp photos, and the low cost per print makes it an attractive choice for budget conscious small businesses and tele...

  • The ESP7 uses the brilliant Kodak system of print adjustment based on bar codes printed on the backs of the different paper types and read by the printer. Output is consistently good to excellent, the variation in print quality being related to paper q...
  • Paper handling is not always precise. We needed to tighten up the paper guides fairly often to stop the paper pulling through at an angle. And setup is finicky – read the instructions carefully and do not deviate from them one iota.
  • The wireless networking capability makes this an ideal all-in-one unit for a home with a number of networked computers. We have now been able to set up the printer driver on a computer at the other end of the house and print at a distance. We like the ...

  • Cheap running cost (but expensive to buy initially), Wireless and Ethernet connectivity
  • Colour casting on photo prints, Slow text prints, Visible print droplets
  • The ESP 7 tries to leap ahead of the pack by claiming to have fast print speeds and good quality photo output. Unfortunately, it falls short in most of these areas, but it is relatively cheap to run.
