  • Full HD 60p recording, WiFi features add to functionality, Large 3.5" LCD screen, Filter thread on lens
  • No manual control dial or lens ring, Awkward menu system
  • Pixels, price and Wi-Fi functionality make the JVC Everio GZ-GX1 a serious contender in today's consumer camcorder marketplace. JVC ...

  • Excellent Wi-Fi features. Sharp LCD. Full 1080p60 video. Well suited for outdoor and action video. Wide aperture lens.
  • Bottom Line, The JVC Everio GZ-GX1 is a high-end consumer camcorder that captures full 1080p60 video and offers up some compelling Wi-Fi features, but given its overall performance, the price is just too high

  • The JVC GZ-GX1 isn't not even close to being the best flagship camcorder on the market, but it's $899 price tag is a bit lower than your average high-end model. JVC cut corners by infusing the GX1 with a cheap body design, poor handling, and a frust...

  • Great image quality, Extensive WiFi features, Manual settings
  • No lens ring, Few discrete control buttons, Manual settings in full menu only
  • The JVC HD Everio GZ-GX1 is a more appropriate combination of extensive wireless abilities with a premium camcorder than the EX215. Like the latter, though, you don't seem to be paying significantly extra for these features. This isn't quite an enthusiast...

  • JVC cut corners by infusing the GX1 with a cheap body design, poor handling, and a frustratingly-slow internal processor that makes menu navigation a downright chore. The camcorder also lacks any kind of internal memory, so you have to account for the cos...

  • The addition of Wi-Fi lets you control the JVC Everio GZ-GX1 remotely using a smartphone or tablet for real-time monitoring your subjects via a live video feed without having to even look at the JVC Everio GZ-GX1. Use it as a security or surveillance device and the JVC Everio GZ-GX1 will even snap a still photo should a moving subject enter the frame. It’s a neat little feature that can also be u
  • A lack of manual controls makes the JVC Everio GZ-GX1 feel somewhat less professional than some of its competitors, resulting in less accuracy and finesse in shots requiring abuse of the zoom mode. Users are recommended to stick with the optical zoom. The JVC Everio GZ-GX1 doesn’t cope quite so well with digital zoom. Use it and you risk ruining your footage with grainy shots with little detail.
  • The addition of Wi-Fi is a nice touch that lends lots of extra functionality to the JVC Everio GZ-GX1, but it’s the video quality that matters. Thankfully images come out great, and with lots of colour and sharpness to make the JVC Everio GZ-GX1 an abl...

  • Mycket hårdvara för priset, WiFi, bevakningsfunktion, Internet-fjärrstyrning, universell tillbehörssko
  • Få snabbknappar, omständlig åtkomst till manuella inställningar, tar inte äldre SD-minnen
