Even with the time spent making corrections, hunt-and-peck typists will save time using the IRISPen Executive 6 as an OCR scanner, and the bar-code functions work well. Experienced typists are better off reading and retyping text. ...

Ideally suited to scan barcodes and small amounts of high-quality text or numerical information, the IRISPen performs well at these tasks. We were surprised at its accuracy, but felt that the package – especially its software – needs a major overhaul.Tags...
