  • Abstract:  Throughout my time spent with the Geneva, every person who saw the system invariably asked about it. When I explained all the functions and demonstrated it to my brother, he said, “I need one of those.” Other friends who own Bose SoundDocks and think t...

  • Great sound, FM Tuner, CD player, excellent design
  • Sluggish remote control, very expensive
  • From the moment you open its box, the Geneva Lab Model L speaker and dock announces itself as more than just an iPod accessory; it is wrapped with such care that you know youre dealing with a product of stunningly high quality, although its high pric...

  • All-in-one home stereo with iPod dock, CD player, and FM radio; large, plastic-free, furniture grade wood cabinet with high gloss paint finish; two line inputs; bass and treble controls; better than average stereo separation; full-size remote control.
  • Its very big (about the size of a microwave); extremely expensive; no digital inputs.
  • The Geneva Sound System Model L delivers a giant sound that totally clobbers its flyweight competition--but the price tag matches its mammoth size.

  • Abstract:  This time out Im looking at another formidable arrival on the iPod audio scene, the Geneva Lab Sound System Model L iPod speaker system. The Swiss-made Model L looks a thousand times better than all the other iPod audio systems on the market put to...

  • Attractive. Relatively compact. Excellent sound quality. Easy setup. Powerful amplifier.
  • Narrower sweet spot than with widely placed stereo speakers. No artist or song info on display. Labels on some remote-control buttons are hard to see. No digital inputs.
  • Thinking of the Geneva Sound System Model L as a powerful contemporary-styled mini system wouldnt be far off the mark. Its sound quality and ease of use will make it an attractive addition to the living rooms of the tragically hip (and wealthy)....

  • Powerful, impressively detailed speakers that deliver outstanding overall sound quality for single-enclosure units. Sold in striking, furniture-quality glossy boxes, in your choice of three colors, each featuring integrated iPod docks, CD players, FM r...
  • Though stereo separation/staging is impressive given the single-enclosure design, high price tags and large physical sizes place these in the category of replacement living room/AV system speakers, which they’re not fully suited to supplant beca...
  • In virtually every way, we’ve praised Geneva Lab’s work on Models L and XL - speakers that we feel comfortable recommending to our readers for use in their homes. But given how much we liked their sound, you’re probably wondering h...

  • Easy to set up and use, Complete stereo system—iPod, CD, and FM—in a single unit, Outstanding fit and finish: exceptional sound quality for a one-piece system, Attractive design,
  • Little low bass extension, Remote performance could be better, Stand is a $99 option, Stereo imaging good enough to use for TV and DVDs, but size/design makes such use difficult

  • Abstract:  The sound from the Model L is sweet yet incredibly powerful, with a notably grown-up and old-school gramophone-like quality. In spite of proprietary DSP technology, which is designed to widen the audio, the distinction the L provides is, for me, a little ...
