  • Interesting design, particularly for a mainstream business laptop; comfortable keyboard; plenty of ports
  • Overpriced; so-so battery life.
  • Although its a solidly constructed business laptop with an appealing design and decent performance, its hard to make a case for the Fujitsu LifeBook E8410 because it costs much more than competing 15-inch models.

  • Modular optical drive/battery bay, LCD Status Indicator, Options for X3100 (more battery life, less gaming) and the 8400MG (more gaming, some loss of battery life), Excellent battery life, Tons of ports and connectivity options, Options for Vista and XP
  • A little too much flex in the plastics, Poor touchpad feedback, Easy to accidentally remove modular drive.
  • Overall, the Fujitsu LifeBook E8410 with Penryn is an excellent option for working professionals in larger companies or IT professionals who need a modern notebook that can interface with older technology. Although the E8410 would still make a perfectl...

  • Can use two batteries at once, Optional eraserhead pointing device
  • Tinnysounding speakers
  • This unit is powerful enough for the desktop yet light enough to travel well.

  • Strong productivity performance, Wealth of security options, Excellent Wi-Fi throughput
  • Low screen resolution, Small touchpad buttons, A bit heavy
  • Striking a fine balance between performance and design is the Fujitsu LifeBook E8410, the successor to the E8210. The system packs in all the essentials needed to keep mobile professionals productive in the office and (occasionally) on the go: a fast I...

  • Attractive display; decent battery life; corporate-level security hardware; full-size keyboard; plenty of ports, including serial and parallel.
  • Slow Photoshop performance with 1GB of RAM; lacks external volume controls; tinny speakers.
  • The well-rounded Fujitsu LifeBook E8410 gives corporate users a broad feature set, enterprise-level security, and decent performance and battery life.

  • Poor keyboard layout, Touchpad feedback, Some flexibility in the notebook body, Flex in the screen casing.
  • Overall, I would say that the Fujistu E8410 embodies the struggle between battery life and power, heat and noise, price and performance, weight and build quality. The E8410 has great advantages and features … but also a few weaknesses. The impo...

  • Elegant design; comfortable keyboard; modular bay; good port selection; excellent security features, including Centrino Pro; superior application performance
  • A bit bulky; no volume, media-control buttons; mediocre DVD performance; weak audio
  • Built more for work than play, this midsize notebook delivers cutting-edge security features and productivity prowess that will satisfy most business users. ...

  • Integrated 3G/HSDPA connectivity, Builtin webcam, Superb 15.4in. screen
  • USB slots are awkwardly located, Bluetooth is optional, Webcam is fixed rather than swivelmounted, Second battery occupies the optical drive bay, making these an either/or choice
  • The LifeBook E8410 notebook delivered a positive user experience, with an outstanding screen and solid performance.
