  • LCD screen, scroll wheel, Raw processing
  • Very expensive, slow image editing
  • So, sounds like the perfect option for your photo storage options, right? The catch - the P7000 will set you back around £500. Now, while it's hard to argue that the P7000 isn't perfect for the photographer, the fact that you can pick up a go...

  • High-capacity hard drive, Fast data-transfer times, Superb LCD
  • Expensive, No FireWire port, Lacks HDTV support
  • Despite its high price and notable lack of FireWire and HDTV capability, Epson’s P-7000 Multimedia Viewer is an indispensable tool for serious photographers in the field who want to be able to store and preview their photos.

  • Excellent screen; extremely full-featured; can rate and delete media on the unit; decent transfer speed.
  • Very pricey; need extra software to import ratings; case is bulky. Flash memory cards get cheaper every year -- or maybe that’s every month. At the time of this writing, you can get a speedy 2GB SD card for $20 at your local BestBuy. Of course, ...

  • Abstract:  I am new to photography, but on my first two photo shoots I lugged around my tx2000 notebook PC to check the pictures I had just taken. I could’ve looked on the LCD screen on the back of the camera, but sometimes what you see on that screen isn&rsq...

  • Excellent display, good storage capacity, USB host, easy to back up memory cards, RAW support, watermarking
  • Expensive, easy to knock out charging cable without realising, easy to remove screw covers
  • In some ways it’s hard to fault the functionality of the Epson P-7000. It’s easy to use, has a relatively responsive interface and plenty of storage. However, it’s quite expensive. Before you buy, make sure you’re serious about you...

  • Screen, features, storage capacity, ease of use, fast display, RAW image support, build
  • Not widescreen, price, battery life, slow image copying
  • Epson’s range of multimedia, portable storage devices have always been renowned for their screens and while not always the most flexible, the new P-7000 and its lower capacity but otherwise identical P-6000 sister look set to change all that...
