Abstract: <b>Spec:</b> Universal remote control, Stereo, One-touch recording/playback, Progressive scanning, JPEG photo playback<br> <b>Good:</b> Records, pauses, and rewinds standard and high-def TV (HDTV); easy-to-use TiVo interface; HDMI output; includes dual satellite and dual over-the-air tuners so that you can watch one program while recording another; partial aspect-ratio control.<br> <b>Bad:</b> Expensive; stores only 30 hours of HD programming; sluggish program guide; no home networking features; no easy way to archive recorded shows to DVD.<br> <b>Bottomline:</b> The HD TiVo is the best high-definition DVR of 2004--but it works only for DirecTV subscribers.<br>
