  • This is the best player to get when complemented with the AVR-2808CI. Though not up-to-date with the newer models, this plays blu-ray movies just as well. For those that simply want to enjoy the movie content, this model is great value for money. “This...

  • Impressive audio and video quality. Solid build. Eliminating analog connectors and processors reduces complexity and, theoretically, the possibility of interference. Disc playback resumes after powering off.
  • As laggy at loading discs as most other Bluray players. Overly large, badly balanced remote control. Unit is relatively slow to pick up on remote control commands. A thousand bucks can buy some pretty nice speakers or go a long way toward a TV instead.
