  • Abstract:  A lot of people think it’s a little odd that I happen to be Hi Tech Legion’s “cooling guy”. I mean, really, cooling isn’t something people typically get overly excited about, but you need to understand some things. After my parents pitched me over the ...

  • Ability to run dual fans, Huge socket compatibility, Heat pipes
  • 92mm fan, No 1366 support
  • The Cooler Master Hyper TX3 only real downfall is its size. Cooler Master sacrificed size for a lower price, which makes sense. Another reason for a reduced size is that some people just dont want a massive cooler. This cooler perfectly fits the bill...

  • Excellent performer, Excellent looker, Classic design styling, not garish, Efficient and quiet
  • This version is PWM only. :( (this limits my fan speed choices on a non PWM board) If you are an AMDer, look for the next revision of this cooler with the 3 pin connector! You can thank me later.
  • The Hyper TX is an excellent performing cooler for all parties. It had smaller physical dimensions than its predecessors, weighs less, and gives equivalent or better performance! CHA-CHING!!!! It is a chameleon of a CPU heatsink in that it ...

  • SATA module, Fan duct, Tooless, Looks good, High quality
  • No removable motherboard tray
  • I cant say I have anything really to complain about except that there is no removable motherboard tray. Otherwise this is a great midi tower case that might stand as a HTPC for Rbmods for awhile. It is kind of discreet so it works great as a standing ...

  • Near silent operation, Outstanding cooling performance, Easiest installation in the business, Cheap like candy...and I am talking about cheap candy here folks
  • There might be fitment issues with some boards, the DFI SLI M2R/G had a slight one
  • I normally dont get all giddy and child like when it comes to the conclusion of a review but very seldom am I this pleased with a product. The Cooler Master Hyper TX has literally knocked my socks off and got me spinning in my office chair. When I fir...

  • Unique fan design, Antivibration screws on fan, VERY easy installation, Small, so easy to work with, Good performance
  • Not universal
  • This is one of the best CPU coolers I have seen from Cooler Master. It does a good job cooling and did I mention how quiet it is! The CPU fan runs at about 1800RPM which is very quiet, but the fan design makes that enough to properly cool the CPU. Ins...

  • Respectable cooling performance, Super simple installation, Compact, should work in systems of many sizes, Provides secondary cooling for other motherboard features, Pre-applied thermal paste is worth keeping, Nearly silent due to fan design and rubber fa...
  • Not much, but better cooling would be great!
  • I couldnt believe it when I first realized this, but the Hyper TX is the first Cooler Master air cooled processor solution we have reviewed at Bigbruin.com. Although perhaps well overdue, our introduction to Cooler Masters air cooling performance was...

  • Excellent performance, Extremely quiet, Looks great, Well designed
  • NONE!
  • one word: WOW! I guess I have to say a bit more than that tough, but that about sums up my thoughts on the Cooler Master Hyper X. I could say that it is extremely quiet and looks great, I could also say that it is designed well and is extremely light...

  • Although at the time of the review release I couldn’t find any UK suppliers, the Hyper TX is going for $25 or around £15. For a cooler that is quiet and reasonably powerful, the Hyper TX is good enough for everyday computing, and a bit of overclocki...
