  • Adds new gameplay elements to Lords of Shadow's gameplay; has a surprising amount of puzzles; "tobecontinued" twopart structure means the narrative doesn't feel tackedon or too abrupt.
  • Turns as Laura are too short; puzzles aren't terribly difficult; cliffhanger ending and short length leave you wanting more, despite interesting end plot development.

  • Abstract:  It's been a long time since I've played a Castlevania game. A combination of not having the required system or simply a lack of interest. Lords Of Shadow changed all that. Instead of a sequel this was to be a re-imagining of the entire series, starting...

  • Beautiful graphics and fun gameplay,
  • Camera is frustrating and many frame rate issues await you.

  • Castlevania has made a kind of stuttery start on the current generation of consoles. The return of Symphony of the Night on Xbox Live Arcade was a very welcome surprise but it was followed up by the sketchy multiplayer title Harmony of Despair which sh...

  • Abstract:  A creative fantasy taking place during the Middle Ages, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is Konami’s latest stab at reinvigorating the Castlevania franchise. Although most of the Castlevania games have been 2D side-scrollers, there have been a few attempts...

  • Abstract:  Ever since the release of Castlevania in 1986, the Belmont family has been to Hell and back. Fans and critics alike were seriously disappointed with the most recent iteration -- Castlevania Judgment for the Nintendo Wii -- and all but abandoned the ser...

  • It may not be hugely original, or indeed faithful to the franchise but, with a deep combat system and some excellent boss battles, Lords of Shadow claims a place near the top of the action adventure list and is terrific value for money. ...
