  • Cheap monochrome printing, costs less than the PIXMA MG5250 but offers similar features
  • Slow printing, mediocre document and photo scanning quality
  • The Canon PIXMA MG5150 is a mid-range inkjet multifunction printer that is a good choice for anyone looking to print monochrome documents on a low budget. It's not a fast printer and its scan quality is average at best, but if price is a concern the PIXMA...

  • Quiet and low energy consumption, Cost per page: 11.7 pence (ISO text), Double page loader, Doublesided, Good scanner
  • Tendency towards red on photos, Colours on photos too bright, Overly long drying time, Lower doublesided speeds: 2 ppm, Just the standard size cartridge available
  • This very affordable all-rounder model gives good photo (watch out for colour neutrality however) and office document prints. With a sober looking design, it's particularly quiet and standby energy consumption is among the lowest out there. If you're l...

  • Great photos, good pint quality, Excellent value, Good overall printing speed
  • No WiFi, Very slow duplex printing, Slightly high running costs
  • For a year or more now, Canon has quoted ISO speeds for its printers, a commendable move and one that means what you see is much closer to what you get. The company rates the PIXMA MG5150 at 9.7ppm for black and 6.1ppm for colour. Although we only saw 7.7...
