  • Abstract:  A big yellow button on the Nfiniti’s box screams “Exceed Wireless Limits!” But in our experience, the only limit Buffalo managed to exceed is the one governing hype. This router, powered by Broadcom’s Intensi-Fi 802.11n-draft chipset, was not only shoc...

  • Onetouch encryption setup (AOSS)
  • No WPA2 or DDNS support; no wall mount, Poor longrange performance
  • The Buffalo matched the mediocre test performance of other draft-n routers we tested. It also lacks some key features, and has a confusing interface.

  • The Buffalo Nfiniti router doesnt support single-mode operation, so it cant match the close-range maximum throughput of the Draft N routers that do support single-mode operation.
  • Although the Buffalo Nfiniti router performed admirably in its somewhat limited mixed-mode operation, like every other Draft N router weve tested, it fails to deliver on the promise of 802.11n.

  • Works as a router, bridge, and repeater.
  • Performance lower than expected for draft-n.
  • The AirStation Nfiniti WZR-G300N is Buffalos first stab at a draft 802.11n router. Despite having some great features, this early draft-n router doesnt meet our performance expectations....

  • Abstract:  There's no doubt that the 802.11n standard has caused more controversy than any other wireless specification. Originally put forward for informal investigation way, way back in 2003 there have since been massive arguments which culminated in May this year...
