Asus has a reputation for building reliable laptops, and the durable U31JG is no exception. It outperforms and outlasts many comparably priced ultraportable laptops, including Asus's own U33Jc. The U31JG isn't optimal for multimedia use, but if you're...
Solid graphics performance for 13-incher, More than 6 hours of battery life, Runs relatively cool, Accurate webcam, Brushed aluminum lid
Display has narrow vertical viewing angles, Keyboard flexes, Slow boot time

Those looking for a more gaming-oriented notebook sh
Battery life: 5H45 video playback, Excellent CPU performance, Keyboard and touchpad comfortable to use, Matte panel, Quiet
Panel with very low contrast (234:1) and inaccurate colours, Finish not great
It's really a shame that the finish on this model doesn't do justice to the performance under the hood and the excellent battery life (5h45). Poor finish aside, this is an excellent ultra portable laptop....
