  • Abstract:  The most impressive feature is the A8 processor and the iOS 8 operating system. What does this mean for the iPod touch? Non-Apple phone users now have access to the whole world of Apple apps, with iOS 8 creating even more exciting apps, and super-fast gam...

  • The new iPod Touch is twice as fast as the previous version and will be able to run iOS 13. Its small size, thin body, headphone jack and old school iPhone-vibe will appeal to some
  • Battery life isn't great, photos and videos are only OK and larger storage versions of the iPod Touch cost too much
  • Basically, the 2015 iPod got a brain transplant to keep it chugging along. Everything else about it remains unchanged making it an easy swap out for businesses that currently rely on the iPod, but a hard sell for most people...

  • Abstract:  The iPod Classic is a terrific portable media player. It may be the last of its kind from Apple. In fact, the iPod Classic may be the end of the line for the iPod as we know it.It seems remarkable that the iPod, a device just the size of a pack of cigar...

  • Abstract:  Despite dropping the “Classic” line of iPods, Apple won't let its iconic brand die. In fact, they've probably just designed the best iPod ever — but is it enough to get you to buy one?Now in its sixth generation, the iPod Touch has always played second fi...

  • The 2015 Apple iPod Touch offers great performance and an impressive camera in a tiny package
  • The 4-inch display is far too small, and the battery life is middling. And it's largely redundant if you already have a smartphone or tablet
  • The updated iPod Touch remains a great portable media player and overall entertainment device, but its small screen feels like a throwback to an earlier era...

  • This is the best iPod Apple’s ever made—good enough that it’s easy to forget it’s not a phone at times. But it’s not a phone, and if you already have a smartphone, it’s hard to justify buying another gadget that replicates its functionality without giving...

  • Affordable access to the App Store, An incredibly small, thin, light "tablet", No cellular plan to worry about, A connected camera, A family remote control, An extra development device
  • A phone, Cellular and/or GPS, A larger-than-4-inch display, Touch ID, Apple Pay
  • With the new iPod touch, Apple's gone from fives to eights: Apple A5 to Apple A8, 5 megapixels to 8 megapixels. Yet the company has kept the same light, clean, ridiculously thin design as the previous generation. There's no Touch ID fingerprint identity s...

  • Great specs, Plays games well, Competitive $199 price, Best iPod ever
  • No Touch ID, 4-inch screen seems like a throwback, Not necessary if you have an iPhone
  • The iPod touch is a great device — and a great companion — but I'm not sure who actually needs one in 2015...

  • Fast processor. Excellent app selection. Well-built.
  • Mediocre battery life. Not an audiophile music player
  • The Apple iPod touch is the best media player there is if you don't want a cellular connection...

  • Fast. It includes a fully modern SoC and 802.11ac Wi-Fi, both of which keep things moving, Well-built and sturdy feeling, At $200 (compared to $650 or $750 for an entry-model iPhone 6), it represents a good value for what you get, New 128GB storage option
  • Missing a few iPhone niceties, including but not limited to TouchID, a vibration motor, a GPS, and an auto-brightness sensor, 16GB base model is a bit small, Where's my battery life percentage indicator?, No larger screen options, if that's something you'
