  • Slim design, Excellent sound separation, Runs on battery and AC power
  • Bass-heavy speakerphone, Harsh beeping when using buttons in Bluetooth mode
  • We like the Altec Lansing inMotion SoundBlade overall. The only other Bluetooth speaker system that comes close in terms of audio quality is the Motorola ROKR EQ7, which also runs on AA batteries but costs $50 more. If you want to save some dough and y...

  • Sleek, thin design, Excellent stereo sound quality, Phone and stereo remote control functionality, No GSM buzz
  • Rechargeable batteries are not included, True Bass SRS system can not be turned off/adjusted, Uses six AA batteries
  • Plantronics and Altec Lansing have done an excellent job of integrating great headset technology with superior sounding speakers in the SoundBlade. It is clear that they understand the issues with the poor equalization found in devices which suppor...

  • Design, build quality, doubles as a speakerphone, line-in jack
  • Needs six batteries to run, can’t connect wired and Bluetooth devices simultaneously, no way to turn off Trubass, no equaliser options
  • It doesn’t offer outstanding sound quality, but the design and functionality of the Altec Lansing inMotion SoundBlade make it a decent choice if you’re looking for a wireless speaker system. ...

  • Abstract:  Of the many additions to cell phones through the years, one of the best things has been the adding of the ability to carry around music and make it as accessible as any iPod or Zune. But unlike MP3 players, we also expect to be able to take calls and ...

  • Compared to some of the other wireless speaker systems we’ve seen, the SoundBlade offers value for money and a useful level of sound and quality. It’s ideal for those working away from the office that like listening to music while they work, a...

  • Thin and portable; works great as a speakerphone; reasonably good audio quality.
  • Audio tends to break up when you crank up the volume.
  • I actually liked the SoundBlade a lot — apart from the Bluetooth audio features, I also found it quite useful as a portable speaker for my iPod. Although iPods need to be connected via a cable, the SoundBlade is slim enough to slip into even the thi...
