  • Multiple ways to access most commands, Can customize work environment and reset to default easily, Provides reasonably reliable visual rendition, Powerful PHP scripting environment, HTML5 and CSS3 support,
  • Steep learning curve, Spreadsheetlike reports, Design view may incorrectly place columns or margins, Interface has commands and buttons all over the place. Help will take you to nonAdobe sites, unless you set a preference.

  • If this review seems shorter than the reviews of the other Adobe CS5 applications, there's a good reason: Dreamweaver CS5 doesn't bring a whole lot to the table over its predecessors. • Good support for PHP programming; improved CSS inspection; simplified site setup; better default CSS layouts
  • Increasingly overwhelming; limited support for new web technologies; no new server behaviours; can be clunky
  • Dreamweaver remains an impressive application, but suffers in trying to be all things to everyone. However, for PHP programmers in particular, it remains a good choice and dedicated existing users will find value in the new CMS and CSS tools
