  • Application performance, Battery life, IPS display with stable viewing angles, MicroSD card slot, Decent speakers, Good mix of pre-installed software
  • Apps cannot be saved on microSD card, Awful camera modules, Insufficient brightness for outdoor use, Creaky case
  • The Acer Iconia One 7 B1-730 offers a ton and costs under 100 Euros (~$135) -- but is that enough to earn our sought-after recommendation -- "buy it"? Only to a limited extent. But we ought to start from the beginning. We are fans of the 7-inch IPS display...

  • The Acer Iconia One 7 starts at $130 and has a micro-SD card expansion slot

  • Good performance for the price, Nice design and texture on the back, Overall good value
  • Subpar display, Terrible cameras, Massive bezels, Jelly Bean
  • So, this is a budget tablet. And as such, I think it's OK – it's not super fast, it isn't going to replace a higher-end year-old tablet, and it's not breaking any records. What it is, though, is a good starter device for a kid, an affordable shared device...

  • Low price, Light weight feels good for one-handed use, Nice viewing angles for a budget tablet
  • So-so battery life, Display is prone to glare, Awkward placement of ports, Heavy on the bloatware
  • A budget 7-inch Android tab, the Iconia One 7 has a decent screen and design for its aggressively low price, but expect some nontrivial trade-offs in battery life, camera quality, and other areas. Read More…...

  • Bottom Line, The Acer Iconia One 7 tablet will suffice for casual Web browsing and media consumption, but even at this low price, there are better options
