  • Good 3D performance for 14", Strong application performance, SSD 160 GB, Low system noise, Low waste heat, Low power consumption, Good battery runtimes
  • TFT is reflective, TFT too dark for outdoors, Poor viewing angles, Few interfaces, Long battery recharge time, Poor keyboard feedback
  • TimelineX 4820TG-644G16MnksAcer attempts a balancing act of performance and mobility. The 14.1 inch size is large enough for an optical drive (not in the 13.3 inch Aspire 3820TG). Additionally it also bids a cooling system for the 35 watt Core i7-640M pro...

  • Bright screen, though clarity is a bit muddy. Lightweight for its category. Good for gaming
  • A little pricey for an Acer. Acceptable yet uninspired performance. System likes to override Windows power settings without asking. Keyboard travel too short

  • Looks more expensive than it is, great performance and long battery life, reasonably priced,
  • No bluray option, display should be better, hard drive is just 5,400 RPM
  • Overall, the Acer Aspire TimelineX 4820T is a well designed laptop that doesn't sacrifice battery life in lieu of performance. It has some flaws – including a mediocre LED display, but for the price you're getting a capable machine. The Acer Aspire Tim...

  • Very thin, light chassis for a 14-inch laptopStandard voltage Core i3 CPUOver five hours of battery life
  • Flexy keyboardPoor vertical viewing angles Crappy build quality
  • Is the Acer TimelineX 4820T the perfect ultrathin laptop? Well, it's surely a step in the right direction, but ultimately what holds this back is the same stuff that holds most Acers back, and that's really its substandard build quality. In the case of th...

  • Pleasant design, Compact and light case, High-quality surface, Comfortable touchpad, Long battery life, Good performance with programs and games, Good display brightness
  • Clearly audible when under heavy usage, Keyboard gives way under pressure, Display bordering can be dirtied easily, Glossy display results in modest viewing angles, High black value and disappointing contrast, Poor sound quality, Poor placement of ports,
  • Acers attempt to create a new Timeline series with gaming and multimedia power and long battery life has succeeded. The Core i5-430M and the Radeon HD 5650 deliver a good gaming performance which allows the user to play most of the current games in higher...

  • Thin, light weight and portable
  • No firewire, ExpressCard port or no means of adding one, No 3G ability, Weak and flimsy feel to the keyboard and lid
  • For under £400, the 4820T is the best of both worlds, with both plenty of processing power, a long battery life, a great dedicated graphics - in a slim, attractive package. You might not get fancy extras like a Blu-ray drive or a full-HD display and the s...
