  • Abstract:  June 5, 2007 - When I first heard that one of my favorite pen and paper RPGs was coming out for the Xbox 360, I got giddy. When I learned that it was going to be a shooter, I was apprehensive. When I finally got my hands on the title, I was disappointed...

  • Lots of class, weapons, and tech options. First game to let Xbox 360 and Vista owners to play together.
  • No singleplayer; limited gametypes and maps. Requires Vista, but no DX10 support.

  • Shadowrun is a pretty good game for a multiplayer experience and does give you a good time during your short stay. You will have to play more than just a few hours to get the feel and full effect of the games intricacies. Overall Shadowrun is worth the...

  • Abstract:  I was totally stoked to get this title, and admittedly, I would have preferred it on my 360, I only a have a couple of games for my new "Duo core processor" PC under the "Games for Windows" banner the mighty Microsoft is flying oh so high lately. So wi...

  • Balanced gameplay; dwarves are cool.
  • Sloppy, amateurish feel; surprisingly sparse amount of content for price & pedigree; unstable servers.
  • Shadowrun is a curious experiment, in not only taking a cult RPG IP and turning it into a multiplayer-focused first-person shooter, but in also spearheading the Games for Windows LIVE initiative and presenting a situation where PC players can now shoot...

  • A fine, superbly balanced FPS that mixes action, magic and Sci-Fi tech with real skill. But why pay £40 for a Vista only multiplayer game when other single-player games throw one just as good in gratis?...

  • Abstract:  Shadowrun is a diamond in the rough. Though weighed down by potential barriers to entry and simplified comparisons to other games, beneath it all lies one of the most intense, well balanced, and complex online team shooters in recent memory.

  • Abstract:  From a distance, Shadowrun seems like a total calamity. The intellectual property (IP) was ripped from its pen and paper, role-playing roots, affixed to a skeletal online arena shooter, and given the visual character of an early-90s game box. It gets w...

  • Engrossing levels of depth and strategy, plenty of variation in gameplay.
  • No single player story campaign, initially hard to get into. The Final Word Shadowrun will offer lots of fun to anyone who enjoys online gaming. If you prefer to play solo however, theres not much here to recommend.
