  • Is the HD4830 the video card to end all video cards? No, but it is one of the best bang for the buck cards out there. The card retails at about $119 at most major online stores, and the performance numbers put it right under the HD4850, which is where...

  • The gamer on a budget is a market segment often ignored by hardware review sites. Being a reviewer for any length of time means you get accustomed to seeing the latest and greatest hardware all the time, and it gets easy to lose track of the cost. Bei...

  • Great price, Wellrounded performance, Astounding overclocking, Blue
  • Dualslot cooler might put people off, Doesnt like DX10 4xAA at 1680x1050, but really, it only costs a little more than $100
  • Priced where this card is, with its, ah, "bombastic" overclocking, this card is a solid buy for any and all budget gamers. You can easily strap this onto an all-AMD PC and get your holiday gaming on, graphics on high, for a short stack of Benjamins. Th...

  • Abstract:  Sapphire’s board is a unique animal and strays far from AMD’s reference 4830. Like PowerColor’s 4830, Sapphire uses a large dual-slot cooler in the place of the reference single-slot unit. Once again, this should provide increased cooling efficiency as well as quieter fan speeds.

  • Performance was solid, and better than I anticipated, Runs cool and fairly quiet, even under a heavy load, Good deal of overclocking capability, Lower price than other Radeon 48xx series cards, Relatively energy efficient, CrossFire X capable, Great HTPC graphics option
  • Two slot cooler leaves heat in the PC case, CrossFire bridge not included, No heatsinks on memory
  • The performance of the Sapphire Radeon HD4830 512MB graphics card definitely surpassed expectations. I am not exactly sure how I expected it to fare during testing, but it wound up looking more like an enthusiast grade card than an entry level offerin...

  • Abstract:  The Sapphire HD4830 is an amazing card for its low price. I was very pleasantly surprised at its performance. I was able to run most games maxed out without any performance issues at all and was even able to play Crysis Warhead at an acceptable resolut...

  • Great Performance (bang for your buck), Overclocking Ease, DX 10.1, Crossfire Ready, Good Cooling Solution (except for video ram), Price
  • Exhausts Hot Air into Chassis, No Game in Bundle, No heat sinks on video ram, Doesnt come in a 2 pack, No CrossFire bridge included
  • Overall, I am completely pleased with the performance of the card. It beat the 8800GT OC in the majority of the test runs and, in my opinion, the image quality is slightly better. There are a few shortfalls that I noted throughout the review, but some...

  • After all the testing I could not wait to put it to the real test, a few hours of online gaming. :) Im a co-leader of an online gaming clan that plays Call of Duty 4 and Unreal Tournament 3, in fact we play CoD4 almost nightly for a few hours. So, wit...

  • At this point in time if you wanting the most bang for the buck as far as processors go the Intel E8400 is the way to go with its abilities to get close to 4 GHz. When it comes to video cards the HD 4830 may very well be it companion in reaching numb...

  • Having already covered the HD 4830 a couple of times here on Overclock3D in the past, one thing is certainly apparent: It is by far the best budget gaming card available at the moment. For under £100 you get a card that can play even the most challenging...
