  • The Samsung Series 8 is a 59in Full HD plasma television with extensive IPTV and 3D capabilities. It slots in-between the Samsung Series 8 52 inch (PS51D8000) and Samsung Series 8 64 inch (PS64D8000) in the company's 2011 plasma lineup. Product highligh...

  • Excellent picture quality, Great design, Impressive sound quality from a thin TV
  • The Series 6 might be slightly better value, EPG is slow to load and navigate

  • The Samsung PS64D8000 is a great TV, but it's a shame that you only get one pair of 3D glasses. They're not cheap to buy, and if your friends and family want to join in on the 3D action, then it could cost quite a bit of money.
