  • Abstract:  Tuesday, 05 May 2009 14:41 The Samsung 58A650 is a very well done plasma TV that isn’t as cheesy as the “touch of color” catalog pictures might suggest. The 58A650 has some of the best specs you’ll find in a plasma TV. It’s attractive and also include...

  • Fantastic picture quality, Smooth & fast video playback, Excellent color reproduction, Availability, Price, Looks great as well
  • Slightly belowpar black levels
  • What can I say, Im really impressed. Although the contrast and black levels were not up to the level seen on TVs I have reviewed in the past, the PN50A650 650 series was such a great overall large TV that the small difference didnt seem to be all t...

  • Highly accurate primary colors and color temperature; numerous picture controls and settings; solid connectivity including four HDMI inputs and one PC input; friendly, intuitive menu design; sleek styling.
  • Black levels not quite as deep as those of the best plasmas; confusing picture mode arrangement; red coloring may not appeal to everyone.
  • Although its black levels arent the deepest, accurate color and a red frame still distinguish the Samsung PN50A650 from the pack. Specifications: Product type: Plasma TV; Diagonal size: 50 in; Dynamic Contrast Ratio: 1000000:1; See full specs Price ra...

  • Abstract:  Samsung is continuing with a second generation foray into the 58" plasma arena to do battle with Panasonic. This new PN650 series from Samsung is hot looking (and also creates a lot of heat while operating). It's got some very nice feature upgrades over ...
