  • Abstract:  If you want to see the future of TV design, look no further than the truly stunning Samsung UE55B7020. This is the largest of the range at 55-inches so if you’re looking for something a bit smaller you should have a look at the UE40B7020.For, despite ...

  • The UE40B7000 is the fruit of Samsung’s commendable maiden effort at implementing edge-lit LED backlighting technology on a flat screen HDTV. Not surprisingly, this first-generation product is not problem-free. For starters, the edge LED system can...

  • The Samsung UE40B7020 is a stunningly slim TV, definitely something you could wall mount without thinking twice. The colour richness and the contrast that it displays are very impressive. It's eco friendly in manufacturing and in usage. The speakers a...

  • Abstract:  The 40B7020 doesn't unfortunately rise above its super-skinny design with its audio, which sounds rather feeble and fails to rise to the challenge of a good action scene. But the attraction of its design and, above all, picture quality still make it one of the most desirable TVs ever.

  • Abstract:  Although I do actually like my job, it's not often that I can honestly say I'm actively looking forward to spending some quality reviewing time with a new TV. But the Samsung UE55B7020 is an honourable exception. With its combination of a 55in screen, Sa...

  • Jaw-dropping design; pictures sometimes look dazzlingly good; loads of connections and features; not stupidly expensive
  • Pools of light in the screen's corners are seriously distracting during dark scenes; motion-handling isn't perfect
  • The Samsung UE55B7020WW looks like it's been sent back from five years in the future, managing to fit an extraordinary amount of features into its incredibly svelte body. Backlight-inconsistency issues mar its otherwise excellent pictures, though ...

  • Super-slim good looks. High spec. Effective LED backlighting. Composed pictures from all sources
  • Unpleasant remote. Wireless dongle costs extra. Ropey broadcasts look... well... ropey
  • It might seem pricey, but in this instance there’s no doubt that you get what you pay for ...

  • Abstract:  First up lets explain what a LED TV is. All LCD panels whether they be for a TV, a cellphone or even your camera require backlighting to make the display visible. In the past all LCD TVs typically used a Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL) as the back...
