  • Bass is crisp and clean, Very attractive looking unit with hidden amber display, Full digital sound that bypasses sound card, Media Center controls
  • Way too expensive for what it is, Virtual surround sound is less than spectacular, Audio quality is not where it should be, No physical controls on speakers themselves
  • I’m normally a pretty big fan of what Logitech has to offer. I like their computer mice, webcams, and other peripherals. They’ve also done a reasonably good job with budget speakers, but I feel that they dropped the ball on this premium virtua...

  • Good sound quality, Nice remote, Easy install
  • Expensive at $299, Not as good as real surround sound system
  • The Logitech Z Cinema Advanced Surround Sound System is a very good compromise for the PC user who doesnt have the room for a full surround sound system. The only real drawback to the entire system is the cost at $299. ...

  • Abstract:  Logitech has been placing emphasis on sound quality as is evident with the last several speaker systems we have reviewed. While the Z Cinéma system is not cheap ($300 retail), it does offer users with a great sounding speaker package that integrates we...

  • The Logitech Z Cinéma Advanced Surround Sound System is a high quality amplified 2.1 speaker set that is a great match for multimedia center computers. The SRS TruSurround HD mimics a true surround system without the need for extra speakers, although...

  • Solid audio performance. No distortion at high volumes. Vertical design takes up little desk space.
  • Controller isnt wireless and offers only power and volume options.
  • This 2.1 speaker system delivers strong bass and bright highs. And because of its BassTrac audio processing, it doesnt distort at higher volumes....

  • The design was beautiful. The fit in with most computers. The remote worked great.
  • Not really a negative, but I would really like to see an attempt by some companies to get speakers such as these working on Linux. With the ease of building a Myth TV box, these would work great on one stuck in a dorm room or in a bedroom even if the

  • Excellent audio clarity, Surround sound with only 2 Speakers, Stylish design, MCE-compliant remote control bundled, 3.5mm headphone and line-in jacks
  • Somewhat pricey, Bulky, Virtual surround available only on PC, Lack of high volume, Remote not backlit, Requires Windows XP MCE or better...
  • The Logitech Z Cinema is an excellent option when surround sound is desired but space is not available. While sound quality is exceptional, true audiophiles will find the Z Cinema inadequate to appease their appetites for a full surround system. Pros &...

  • Crisp, balanced full-range sound, Beefy subwoofer delivers knockout punch, Integrated IR receiver and included Media Center remote, Stays clean at high volumes, Surround sound from two speakers,
  • Limited tone adjustments, Clunky software and on-screen display
  • To be honest, my time with the Z Cinéma speaker system left me feeling fairly vindicated in my earlier view that virtual-surround algorithms would be the next major advancement in high-performance surround sound on the desktop. The Z Cinéma system tru...

  • Decent sound quality, Remote works very well, Easy installation
  • Expensive, A few interface issues, “Surround” sound is so-so
  • The Z Cinema is an interesting approach to integrating a home theater PC remote with a set of better-than-average speakers. Overall the package accomplishes most of the goals it set out to achieve, making it somewhat easy to control a wide range of med...
