The LG Lifeband's built-in vibration alerts can be used to motivate, or notify of phone calls; it has support on both iOS and Android phones; the LG Fitness app works with third-party heart-rate monitors, and a few external third-party fitness apps
The Lifeband is heavier and thicker than it needs to be, the screen is unreadable in bright daylight, some call and text-notification features won't work when paired with an iPhone, the swipe-and-tap band interface is frustrating to use, the battery life
The Lifeband Touch, LG's crack at a smart fitness band, has moments of promise, but just doesn't add up to an experience that's useful or fun compared with the competition....

Intuitive app interfac, Control music and workout from wris, Works with iOS and Android
Heav, Can't view display in sunligh, Glitchy app
While the LG LifeBand lets you start and stop workouts and control music right from your wrist, this fitness tracker is far too limited in form and function. Following in the footsteps of Samsung, LG is releasing its own fitness-centric wristb...

The Lifeband Touch should be LG's play for the growing wearable market, based on its excellent OLED display.It should be — but it isn't. Given the price disparity between the Jawbone UP and even the Samsung Gear Fit, the LG Lifeband Touch sits in a too li...

Works as a smart watch, intercepting phone calls, controlling music, and changing volume;
Clunky and heavy; The largest size will feel too tight on large wrists; No sleep tracking; No NFC; Setup could be easier; No social connections; Water seems to get trapped in under the screen easily;
As a first attempt, we can't say we're totally impressed by LG's Lifeband, and it's easily our least favourite of the wearables out there that we've tested, the bunch of bands as we've been calling it.It does some interesting things, mind you, and we're s...
LG has made a significant play into the wearable space with the new LifeBand and Heart Rate Headphones combo - I really like the innovation on offer and I can't wait to try out the headphones on a run. The band itself does have a very 'and me' feel, and ...
LG Fitness App, Display turns on with flip of the wrist, Works with MapMyRun and RunKeeper
Display unreadable in direct sunlight, Vibration alarm is too gentle to feel
The LG Lifeband Touch is an attractive, full-featured fitness-tracking band. It is solidly built and works well with the LG Fitness smartphone app. In fact, we had no complaints with the app, nor the way the Lifeband Touch interacted with it. LG has don...

Abstract: The LG Lifeband Touch marks the brand's entry into the wearable tech arena, currently occupied by the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Gear , Sony Smartwatch 2 and Google Glass . The wristband is designed to monitor your health, meaning that it'll be up again...
