This camera is rated to withstand a drop from 5.8 feet
The picture quality is average
The FujiFilm FinePix XP80 isn't the greatest underwater camera in our comparison, but it has its definite upsides. The camera is rated to go down 50 feet underwater without damage. It is also rated to withstand a fall from 5.8 feet – both of which are com...
Abstract: What does your digital camera say about you? If it's the typical silver or black box with a lens and a couple of buttons, not much, probably. With ultra-aggressive styling, the Fujifilm FinePix XP200 has no such problem. It positively screams that you're ...
The Fujifilm FinePix XP200 is a nice camera to use. It's not delicate, by all means, and needs a little bit more oomph to get it working, but that's the waterproof seals under the buttons that are to blame. We like the design of the camera and the bright...
Abstract: Rugged cameras have come a very long way since the first toughened-up models appeared a few years ago. Anyone wanting to know just how far they've come need only look at Fujifilm's new FinePix XP200, introduced March 22, 2013. The progress since those ...

Well, that burst mode is very good and offers up to 60fps shooting if you can sacrifice a little detail. We also love the look, feel and usability of this compact.
Video capture is poor and stills image quality although ultimately good can be a bit of a chore to achieve
No one's managed to get the consumer toughcam right so far and the XP200 is no exception. It's okay in places but still plenty of room for improvement....
Battery compartment door isn't secure—not ideal for an underwater camera!, At wideangle, lens sharpness isn't even across the frame, Sharpness could be better at telephoto, Sensitivity isn't great, Mediocre audio quality
Padding out its range of waterproof cameras is all very well and good for Fujifilm. However, any progress should definitely be positive—there's no point taking steps sideways (or backwards). And that's exactly the problem with the FinePix XP200. Picture q...
Of all of the tough cams we've seen this year, the XP200 was the least desirable. Even though it rings in at under $300, you're a stone's throw (roughly $75) away from the best all-round tough cam, the Olympus TG-2. Your $75 nets you much better image qua...
