  • The Dell XPS 18 combines an all-in-one PC with a lightweight 18-inch tablet, making it a flexible system for at-home entertainment and productivity
  • You're paying a premium for a relatively small screen. Less expensive configurations cut too many corners to be a good deal

  • It's got a very poor battery life, not enough hard connections and the bottom end model is badly underpowered
  • Bottom line: It's a bit absurd as a tablet but it makes a really nice computer for all the family to use. Think of it like a laptop and it actually starts to make more sense....

  • We were surprised how quickly we became used to having a device like the XPS 18 that could follow us from room to room. Of course, you could get a 15-inch laptop for half the price – but that wouldn't have such a large and attractive HD display. That port...

  • As always we begin our conclusion with some thoughts on the build quality of the product at hand and overall the XPS 18 is an impressive device. It feels very solid in the hand and the finish across both the front and back is flawless. The screen has grea...

  • Portable around the house, Huge screen for a portable, Thin and light for an all, in, one desktop, Solid benchmark performance
  • Limited ports, Kickstands are plastic/polycarbonate
  • The Dell XPS 18 is a promising entry in the burgeoning portable all-in-one desktop field. It kind of makes sense for those users who want a much larger screen than on a tablet or laptop PC, but are willing to trade 3D and multimedia performance for a sys...
