  • No fax function, scanner and copier are average, no paper tray, not a workhorse
  • Canon has combined cool looks with a handy feature list and a good price in its Pixma MP510 multifunction device. The Pixma MP510 doesnt contain a fax function, but it more than makes up for that omission with very strong photo-printing features and ...

  • Very inexpensive; allows for manual control of photo enhancement; built-in IrDA; lots of layout options; decent print speeds; good graphics and photo print quality.
  • Text and scan quality should be improved; cant use PictBridge port as a USB port for external storage devices; lacks a feature to automatically save contents of a memory card to a PC; lacks dye-based black ink.
  • The Canon Pixma MP510 is a middle-of-the-road photo all-in-one, but we like what you get for the price.

  • Small LCD, limited in-printer editing The Final Word The Canon Pixma MP510 makes an excellent choice if youre looking for a straightforward printer/scanner combo capable of printing good-looking photos, though its colour LCD could be bigger.
