  • Abstract:  Video Review: With decent sound quality, a sleek, modern design, two alarm modes, and a few other features make the XtremeMac Luna iPod Clock Radio a great replacement for your standard, run-of-the-mill clock radio. However, there are some flaws with t...

  • Abstract:  My previous alarm clock radio was more than 20 years old. The cassette player was on its last leg. I’d long since lost the detachable speakers, which sounded a far cry better than the internal speakers. There was no CD player in it and no auxiliary...

  • iPod dock, 2 independent alarm settings, Batteries included, Remote control, Increasing volume for alarm, Decreasing volume for sleep, AUX input (in case you don’t have an iPod)
  • Quirky menu control, Poor AM/FM reception without antenna, Remote needs to be pointed directly at unit to work, Does not display iPod Song on display when being played.
  • I was excited about having an alarm clock with a built in iPod dock and I am still happy about the Luna even after playing with it and trying every scenario I could think of. The design of the Luna is modern and should fit into most bedroom decors. On...

  • Patented Menu System based on iPod Menus. Fully customizable features. Dual Alarms with multiplesources.4 Pre-Sets for Radio Stations. Full featured remote included. Stylish Design. Charges iPod. Time and alarm AA battery backup.
  • Bass response a bit flat. Complex menus to learn initially.
  • The success of the iPod worldwide has generated a market flooded with iPod accessories. There are many iPod based speaker systems, but few double as an alarm clock. In all fairness, we cant compare the Luna iPod Alarm Clock to other iPod speaker syste...

  • Lots of great clock radio features Sleek, modern design Better sound than average clock radios No bulky power brick External audio input
  • Limited iPod menu navigation Excessively loud buttons So-so AM/FM reception
  • The XtremeMac Luna is a great little iPod-based clock/radio system for home, dorm or office use (for those that power nap at work). With its unique design, the Luna looks, functions and sounds better than most other clock/radio systems available on the...

  • Abstract:  Altec Lansing was one of the first creators of speakers for the iPod with their inMotion line of products. Other manufacturers have followed - and one stands out the most, XtremeMac. The new XtremeMac claims its Luna speaker system for the iPod is a re...

  • Abstract:  At the end of last year, I reviewed the iH5 iPod Clock by iHome. I liked it well enough, but it left me wanting more. The latest iPod alarm clock to grace my night stand is XtremeMacs Luna. If youre wondering if the iH5 that was next to my bed bef...

  • The XtremeMac Luna offers a plethora of alarm options, and it tunes into both AM and FM bands. Sound quality at a close range is good, and the remote offers bass and treble controls. Includes auxiliary line input for use with non-iPod MP3 players.
  • The XtremeMac Luna lacks an autoscan function and you must manually input presets; FM radio reception isnt the greatest. The remote cant navigate through iPod menus.
  • The XtremeMac Luna is a decent-sounding tabletop iPod radio with plentiful alarm options and funky chrome knobs--if youre in the market for a bedside speaker unit, dont overlook this one.

  • Abstract:  Luna is an iPod AM/FM stereo speaker system with an iPod alarm clock built in. Or perhaps its an AM/FM iPod alarm clock with a stereo speaker system built in. Either way, it performs most of those functions well and is reasonably priced. First and for...

  • An impressively designed iPod docking clock radio with a fantastically adjustable LCD screen and novel settings menus. iPod-like interface provides access to all sorts of user-customizable settings for the clock face, AM/FM radio and dual alarms; great...
  • Price is higher than ever-improving sub-$100 options with similar features but less impressive total performance. AM/FM radio performance varies from unit to unit based on revision; new units (2.12U firmware and beyond) are substantially better here, a...
  • iHome may have created the first and best fusions of iPod docks and alarm clocks, but with Luna ($150), billed as a “revolutionary alarm clock and room audio system,” XtremeMac has released a fully worthy rival. As impressive on the insid...
